Vivo Y28 5G: Vivo Brings Super Cheap 5G Phone, Price and Images Revealed
Vivo is going to launch a new handset under their Y-series in the Indian market very soon. The upcoming smartphone will come with the name Vivo Y28 5G. It will be the successor to the Vivo Y27 5G model that debuted last July It was reported a few days ago that the upcoming device will be affordable and targeted at offline-centric buyers in the country. Now tech hub (Appuals) has leaked renders of the Vivo Y28 5G smartphone and its price in India.

According to a recent report by Appuals, the price of the latest Vivo Y28 5G smartphone will start at Rs- 13,999 in India. This sale price will be allocated for the base variant of the phone with 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Again, the higher 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB options can be priced at Rs- 15,499 and Rs- 16,999 respectively.
The report also mentions that the company will offer a 2.7% bank card discount with the upcoming Vivo Y28 5G smartphone. As a result, buyers can additionally get an instant discount of Rs- 1,500. Vivo will also offer an initial EMI option of Rs 31 per day for buyers who want to pay in installments.
The device is also known to launch with Crystal Purple and Glitter Aqua color options.
On the other hand, in the newly released renders, the back panel of this Vivo Y28 5G smartphone shows a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. The camera module of the device has two separate camera rings. Again, the right edge of the phone will have the power button and volume rocker.
Let us inform you that the Vivo Y28 5G smartphone has recently received clearance from the 'Bureau of Indian Standards' (BIS) and Bluetooth SIG (Bluetooth SIG) certification site. According to the listings on both sites, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 6100+ chipset based on a 6nm processing node. This processor supports two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, four Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and Mali G57 MP2 GPU. Besides, the device will have a 50 megapixel primary rear camera and a 5,000 mAh capacity battery. As the said Vivo handset has been consistently appearing on one certification site after another, it is believed that it might make its debut in India very soon.
