108MP camera, 5800mah battery, Honor's new smartphone is launching soon in India

Last year, HTech brought back the Honor brand in the country after a long gap of three years by launching its Honor 90 5G smartphone in India. Last week, the company released a teaser announcing the arrival of a new smartphone in the Indian market. Although the company hasn't revealed its name, the design of the phone suggests that it is going to be the Honor X9b, which debuted in October last year. HTech CEO Madhav Seth released a teaser video yesterday, in which he is seen testing the Honor X9b by dropping it from various heights. The main aim of this drop test is to highlight how robust the smartphone display is.

 The teaser for the India launch of Honor X9b is out again:-

 Although the latest teaser shared by HTech Chief Executive Officer Madhav Seth on his X (formerly Twitter) handle did not reveal the name of the phone, the word “X” in the post strongly suggests that it will be an X-series phone. The teaser shows the Honor X9B's distinctive curved-edge display.

A tough drop test was performed by dropping the phone from a height of 8 feet and above, after waist-level and shoulder height. Remarkably, the fully intact display successfully passed all drop tests with no visible damage. Honor had earlier shared similar teasers in other country markets as well, which highlighted the incredible durability of the Honor X9B's screen.  Honor X9b Specifications (Expected):-

 The Honor X9B features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, offering 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and runs Magic OS 7.2 based on Android 13 with a custom skin. Honor X9B has 8GB / 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

 For photography, the rear panel of the Honor X9b includes a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. And there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera in front of the phone. In terms of power backup, the Honor X9b is powered by a 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. Also, the Honor X9b will get features like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
