Big news! Not MIUI, Poco X6 Pro will be launched in India with Xiaomi's new software
Poco X6 series is going to be launched in India on January 11 The company has already announced that the Poco X6 Pro will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. Again the microsite of the phone has already gone live on Flipkart. Before the launch, Poco has announced that Poco X6 Pro will launch with HyperOS software. That is, it will be the first phone in India to have Xiaomi's new operating system pre-installed.
Poco X6 Pro will have HyperOS operating system :-
Poco's Global X handle posted that the upcoming Poco X6 Pro will run on HyperOS software. The specifications of the Indian and global variants of the Poco X6 series will be similar. Hence, the presence of HyperOS on Poco X6 Pro is expected to be officially announced by Poco India soon. According to recent reports, the Poco X6 Pro will be a tweaked version of the Redmi K70E, which was launched in China a few weeks ago.
The Poco X6 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device may have the same triple rear camera setup as the Redmi K70E with a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Along with this, the company will also launch the Poco X6, which is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The company hasn't revealed much information about the base model, as the teasers have focused more on the Poco X6 Pro. Poco is also leading the HyperOS rollout in India. The company recently released the over-the-air (OTA) update of HyperOS to Poco F5 ahead of Xiaomi's flagship Mi series and Redmi Note series.
Poco X6 Pro Specifications (Expected) :-
Poco X6 Pro will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which will support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, coupled with Mali G615 GPU. The phone will have 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. The Poco X6 Pro will run HyperOS custom skin based on Android 14.
In terms of cameras, the Poco X6 Pro's rear camera setup will include a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And a 16 megapixel front camera can be seen in front of the phone. In terms of power backup, the Poco X6 Pro will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Other features of the phone will include an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
