Serprise Gift in advance, starting the new phone reservation, Honor
Honor announced yesterday that their first smartphone to be co-branded with renowned design house Porsche Design will be named “RSR”. The company has now quietly launched the pre-booking process for this special edition phone in China.
Pre-booking for Honor Magic 6 RSR has started :-
Interested buyers can now reserve the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design handset by depositing 911 Yuan (roughly Rs. 10,800) at the Porsche Store. Deposits will give them early access to the first round of online pre-orders on January 11 and 12. In addition, buyers will receive a special surprise gift box. However, this deposit is only for Early Access and will be refunded on January 13. This will not add to the full price of the phone. That means the full payment process of Honor Magic 6 RSR will start from January 11.
Let's just say, apart from the story behind the RSR name, not much is known about the Honor Magic 6 RSR Edition phone yet. The “RSR” suffix in the phone's name is inspired by Porsche's racing history. It is an abbreviation of “RennSport Rennwagen”, which means “Racing Sport Racing Car” in German. This is usually reserved for track-only versions of the iconic Porsche 911 model. While specific details about the Magic 6 RSR are still unavailable, Honor has already released the standard Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro.
It is reported that the Honor Magic 6 Pro will have a powerful 100x digital zoom periscope camera, while the Magic 6 will get an impressive 50x zoom. Both the phones are expected to have 50-megapixel primary and ultra-wide cameras. The Pro model may also have a satellite communication feature.
Both handsets will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and will run Magic OS 8.0 custom skin based on Android 14. These phones will have storage ranging from 256GB to 512GB and the Pro model will also offer a 1TB storage option.
