OnePlus has started the plan to launch the OnePlus 12 series in various countries including India on January 23. There will be two phones in this series called OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. And now, the company has revealed that the OnePlus 12R will be sold exclusively through Amazon in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, the OnePlus 12R phone's micro-site has gone live on the e-commerce platform. The handset has been spotted in two color options. The microsite published on Amazon India's platform confirmed that the OnePlus 12R will be available in Blue and Black color options. The phone can come in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 16GB RAM + 256GB storage. It is expected to be the rebranded version of OnePlus S3 which was recently launched in China. OnePlus Ace 3 features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K (2,780 × 1,264 pixels) resolution, 450 ppi pixel density, 120 Hz refresh rate, 360 Hz touch sampling rate, 1 ,600 nits of peak brightness, 4,500 nits of HBM brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass offer protection to the Victus 2.
The phone is powered by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's (TSMC) flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor built on a 4nm process, coupled with Adreno 740 GPU. OnePlus Ace 3 will get 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB / 512GB / 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The handset runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14 custom skin.
OnePlus Ace 3's triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with 1/1.56-inch sensor size, f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), 120-degree field of view and f/2. There is an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens with 2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. And on the front of the phone there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.
In terms of power backup, the OnePlus Ace 3 packs a massive 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. For security, the phone includes an in-display fingerprint scanner. And for enhanced audio experience, the device offers stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and USB Type-C audio port.
In terms of price, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the OnePlus Ace 3 has been launched in the Chinese market at 2,599 renminbi (roughly Rs. 30,500). The price of the upcoming OnePlus 12R-base variant is expected to be around Rs 40,000 in the Indian market.
